Wireless Service Revenues Report – Mid-Year 2011 Results

This special CTIA Insight report on U.S. wireless service revenues includes total service revenues and the break-out of revenues generated by roaming, toll and vertical services (voice mail, enhanced calling features, etc.), and the growth in wireless data service revenues. The report also draws upon government sources for additional revenue break-outs not tracked by CTIA itself.  The report details the comparative trends of the average local monthly bill and average revenue per subscriber according to different definitions.

This special CTIA Insight report is based on CTIA’s semi-annual survey, which has been conducted since January 1985, and includes all forms of “commercial mobile radio service” providers – cellular, personal communications services and enhanced mobile radio service providers – serving more than 95% of all U.S. wireless users.
